Every smile is unique - to get the best orthodontic outcome, Dr. Goforth takes your unique biology into consideration while developing your treatment plan. We obtain a digital scan of your teeth, photos of your face along with two different digital x-rays, as diagnostic records, to appropriately plan your care. In addition we offer a number of treatment options to best fit your style.

Although we at GoForth and Smile Orthodontics believe Braces are beautiful and a fun way to express yourself with our many color options (that can be changed at every appointment) we know not everyone feels this way. In addition to traditional metal braces we offer gold and clear braces; both of which are much closer to tooth color therefore offering a more esthetic result. Dr. Goforth is also a strong Invisalign provider who has completed many extra courses focusing solely on Invisalign and clear aligner therapy to insure that you get the best standard of care if you select braces or clear aligners.

Unfortunately in this modern age, medicine has more and more moved to a corporate owned clinic model which removes the doctors from direct input and oversight. Dr. Goforth believes that often the best care is provided when the doctor is directly linked to all aspects of the treatment and office. Dr. Goforth herself has worked at clinics where she has been the 4th or even 5th orthodontist to treat a patient, which can slow progress. Although a foundation built on the fundamentals of biology and orthodontics is important, there have been several modern advancements that can make your experience and care much better. We have the most up to date digital scanner to quickly and more comfortably capture all the information of your teeth without goopy impressions. We only utilize digital x-rays to reduce radiation exposure and have low profile braces to reduce discomfort.
