Dr. Rebekah Goforth was born right here in Boise. Although her family moved to North Carolina when she was a child, they always kept the treasure valley in their hearts. When she and her husband chose a place to call home it was Boise! As a mother herself, she understands the challenge of balancing schedules and makes every attempt to value your time! Orthodontics naturally blends her love of science and art.
Always attracted to the mountains, she attended Appalachian State University, nestled in the east coast’s Blue Ridge Mountains where she majored in Biology and met her husband, Brad. After trying her hand at a couple careers and traveling the country camping and hiking along the way. She made a career change attending dental school at the prestigious University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill after which she completed an orthodontic residency while earning a Masters of Science in Oral Biology from the University of Tennessee. Her husband’s residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology moved her to Baltimore, Maryland where she worked for a wonderful orthodontic practice, had their first child and enjoyed making Baltimore smile more before moving to Boise in the spring of 2021. She is among the top tier of orthodontists that have chosen to set themselves apart by becoming board certified. For the past several years she has been crafting smiles throughout Idaho while building the orthodontic practice of her dreams right in the heart of Boise where she can finally serve her community (and bike to work). She enjoys giving back to her local and global community through volunteerism as well as her orthodontic community through giving lectures, serving on dental missions as well as serving on committees. As an instructor at the Tweed International Orthodontic Foundation she teaches the fundamentals of treatment planning and orthodontics to residents throughout America and the world. Her love of traveling and being outdoors remains. In her free time, you can find her spending time outdoors with her family and friends. Her favorite indoor activities include painting, knitting, writing and reading. She enjoys eating good food and trail running to compensate. She collects heart shaped rocks and loves meeting new people so come on in and say hello!
