After working for other people for years Dr. Goforth has finally been able to design and build the orthodontic practice of her dreams right in the heart of Boise!
This is not a stuffy dental clinic where patients are just a number and everyone gets the same “cookbook” treatment. Dr. Goforth lives in, and is raising her children in this neighborhood, and is excited about providing care to her neighbors. She believes in a balance of quality of care and quality of life! 620 Hays Street is conveniently located near a number of schools and workplaces which makes getting to and from your appointments simple. As the sole location of GoForth and Smile Orthodontics our team can be easily more available when you need us. Dr. Goforth is the only orthodontist, so you always know who is providing the care for you or your child. Dr. Goforth has poured her heart into the vision that has developed into this orthodontic office and we know you will feel the GoForth difference as a patient of ours!

All things orthodontics… Well, what is that you might be thinking? Correcting problems that result in the jaws and or teeth not lining up correctly! This means early treatment for children who need it when they still have baby teeth, comprehensive orthodontics for teens and adults whether your teeth need simple straightening out, bite correction or surgical intervention. A General Dentist goes to dental school to train to become a dentist. An orthodontist is a dentist who after graduating from dental school continues to an orthodontic specific residency to train in the specific art of manipulating jaw growth and moving teeth appropriately. The practice of orthodontics is very different from the practice of general dentistry and the training is also very different! Following her 3 year residency in orthodontics, although not required to practice, Dr. Goforth took the extra step to become board certified further distinguishing herself as a specialist in the field of orthodontics.

Yes we do! We accept almost every insurance! Even if we don’t show up as a network provider we can usually still get you your complete orthodontic benefit. Let us help you navigate the tricky landscape of insurance! You have more freedom than you know with accepting an orthodontist! We want to help make getting braces as affordable and pain free as possible. What if you don’t have insurance or we are not in network with you insurance? The reality is orthodontic insurance often doesn’t cover as much as you think they will, they typically have a life time maximum cap that doesn’t cover the promised 50% coverage. We are here to help you understand your benefit and we offer payment plans with in-house financing directly through are office.
